Dilly Casserole Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 pkg. dry or cake yeast
1/4 c. warm water
1 c. creamed cottage cheese
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. margarine or butter
2 tsp. dill seed
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1 egg
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
Preparation

Combine yeast and warm water; set aside.
Heat cottage cheese to lukewarm.
Add sugar, onion, margarine or butter, dill seed, salt, soda and egg.
When cool, add to yeast mixture, then add the flour.
Cover this soft dough and let rise in place for 1 hour. Stir down and turn into a well-greased 8-inch round casserole. Let rise in warm place for 30 to 40 minutes.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes, until golden brown.
Sprinkle with light salt. Makes 1 round loaf.
