Southern Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. corn syrup
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugars, syrup and milk.
    Cook to soft-ball (234\u00b0). Cool 10 minutes.
    Add vanilla and beat by hand about 2 minutes. Add pecans and beat until mixture loses its gloss.
    Drop on foil or buttered wax paper.
    Add teaspoon or so of hot water if necessary.
