Ingredients

1 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. milk
1 c. cream, whipped
1/2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 c. blanched pistachio nuts
Preparation

Mix the cornstarch and sugar in a saucepan.
Stir in the milk gradually, stirring constantly.
Stir this mixture into the eggs, then return mixture to the saucepan.
Cook over moderate heat until mixture thickens (it must not be allowed to boil), then remove from heat and let cool.
