French Fried Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg, beaten
    1 c. milk
    1 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 medium onions
    shortening
Preparation
    Combine egg, milk, flour and salt.
    Dip onions in batter.
    Fry in hot shortening.
    Drain on absorbent paper.
    Sprinkle with salt. Yields 5 to 6 servings.
