Coconut Cherry Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Cup Margarine
    1 1/4 Cup Sugar
    1 Egg
    1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
    2 1/2 Cups Flour
    1 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1/2 Cup Chopped Nuts
    1/2 Cup Chopped Maraschino Cherries
    2/3 Cup Flaked Coconut
    1 Cup (16 oz.) Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
Preparation
    Cream margarine; add sugar gradually.
    Blend in egg and vanilla.
    In a small bowl, mix four, baking powder and salt.
    Stir dry ingredients into cream mixture.
    Add nuts, cherries and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
    Mix well.
    Spread dough into greased 10x15 inch pan.
    Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes.
    Cool slightly; cut into bars.
