Blackberry Jam Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter, softened
    1 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. buttermilk
    1 1/2 c. blackberry jam
    1/2 c. frozen or fresh blackberries
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
