Coconut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1/3 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 c. coconut
    1/2 c. warm milk
Preparation
    Grate coconut.
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Add vanilla.
    Add coconut.
    Add dry ingredients with 2 parts milk.
    Knead 5 minutes.
    Cover; let double in size.
    Shape and place in greased pan.
    Let double in size.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes or until inserted knife comes out clean.
    Remove from pan; cool on rack.
