Cherry Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. Crisco
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. + 2 Tbsp. milk or buttermilk
1 Tbsp. vinegar
2 1/4 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 can cherry pie filling
Preparation

Mix Crisco, sugar, eggs, vanilla, milk and vinegar.
Add flour, baking powder and salt.
Mix well.
Pour into 8 x 12-inch greased and lightly floured pan.
Dot top of cake mix with cherry pie filling before baking.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
Makes 16 servings.
