Meat Croquettes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. fat
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 c. milk
    2 c. finely ground cooked meat
    1 Tbsp. chopped onions
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. minced parsley
    fine dry bread crumbs
    1 egg
Preparation
    Melt fat; add flour and blend.
    Add milk and cook until very thick, stirring constantly.
    Add meat, onions, seasonings and parsley.
    Chill thoroughly; form into cylinders, pyramids or patties.
    Dip into crumbs, then into slightly beaten egg mixed with 2 tablespoons of water and into crumbs again.
    Chill.
    Fry in hot deep fat (380\u00b0) until brown.
    Serves 4.
