Cole Slaw Superb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cabbage (about 5 c.)
    1/2 medium onion, finely grated
    1 c. coarsely grated carrots
    1 small green pepper, finely sliced
    1 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/2 Tbsp. white wine vinegar
    1 1/3 c. mayonnaise
Preparation
    Cut cabbage in half.
    Then half again to make wedges.
    Cut on the diagonal into thin strips.
    Mix with onion and carrots. Combine green pepper with salt, sugar, vinegar and mayonnaise. Toss with slaw and refrigerate at least one hour
