Tomato Paste Or Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 bunch celery
    1/2 bushel tomatoes
    2 lb. onions
    2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. cornstarch
    1/2 c. salt
    1 c. margarine
    1 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. red pepper
Preparation
    Wash
    and cook tomatoes, onions, celery, parsley flakes and red pepper; run through strainer.
    Add sugar, cornstarch, salt and butter.
    Put in kettle and bring to a boil.
    Boil for about 1 to 1 1/2 hours; stir often.
    Put into clean sterilized jars.
