Fruit Cocktail Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 pinch salt
    1 #2 can fruit cocktail, drained and reserved
    2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Mix white sugar, flour and soda. Add juice from fruit cocktail and eggs. Beat until fluffy. Fold in fruit cocktail, and pour into a greased 9X13 pan. Sprinkle brown sugar over top of batter.
