Spice Chiffon Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. sifted cake flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground allspice
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 c. Puritan oil
5 unbeaten egg yolks
3/4 c. cold water
1 c. egg whites (7 or 8)
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation

In a large bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and spices.
Make well in center of mix. Put oil, egg yolks and water in well and beat with a spoon until smooth.
