Foolproof Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 tsp. salt
    1 3/4 c. Crisco
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. white vinegar
    1 large egg
Preparation
    In large bowl, stir together flour, sugar and salt.
    Cut in shortening until crumbly.
    In small bowl beat together water, vinegar and egg.
    Add to flour mixture and stir until all ingredients are moistened.
    Divide dough into 5 portions.
    With hands, shape into flat round patty.
    Chill 1/2 hour.
    Roll out and bake at 450\u00b0 on center rack of oven.
    Dough may be kept in the freezer until ready to use.
