Mexican Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped (saute in butter until golden)
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat, browned and drained
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    8 oz. jar Albert's hot sauce
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chilies
Preparation
    Simmer until cheese is melted.
    Serve warm with chips.
