Fruit Salad Dressing - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 medium can pineapple (juice drained off)
    3 whole eggs
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 pt. heavy cream (for whipping)
Preparation
    Boil pineapple juice.
    Beat eggs slightly.
    Add sugar and flour.
    Pour into hot juice.
    Stir constantly, cooking over medium heat until thickened.
    When ready to use, add whipped heavy cream to sauce.
    Fold in cut-up fruit.
