Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium yellow squash
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg, well beaten
    1/2 c. milk
    1 c. cream of celery soup
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion
    1/4 c. finely chopped green pepper
    8 saltines
    1 c. grated cheese
    2 Tbsp. margarine
Preparation
    Cook squash until tender; drain and mash.
    Combine all ingredients except a small amount of cheese and crackers.
    Pour into casserole.
    Sprinkle with crackers and reserved cheese.
    Dot with margarine.
    Bake uncovered at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until slightly brown on top.
