Swiss Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. extra lean flank or round steak
    1/4 c. flour
    dash of pepper
    1 onion, cut into rings
    1/4 c. red wine
    1 lb. can plum tomatoes
Preparation
    Shake meat in paper bag with flour and pepper.
    Brown onion and meat on both sides in wine. Drain, if necessary, to remove any excess fat.
    Stir in tomatoes. Cover tightly.
    Cook slowly 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until tender.
