Salisbury Steak With Mushroom Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground round steak or ground beef
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. fat or vegetable oil
    mushroom gravy
Preparation
    Combine meat, pepper and salt.
    Shape into 3 or 4 plum oval patties.
    Pan-fry in hot fat in a skillet or broil 4 to 6 minutes each side.
    Serve with mushroom gravy.
    Makes 2 generous servings.
