String Bean And Mushroom Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 qt. water
    1 lb. tiny green beans or string beans, trimmed
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms
    1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
    2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
    1/4 tsp. ground cumin
    1/4 tsp. Tabasco
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 c. sliced red onion
    1/4 c. chopped fresh chives
Preparation
    In a large saucepan bring water to a boil. Add beans and salt to taste.
    Cook about 5 minutes or until tender.
    Drain and cool. Wash and dry mushrooms; slice thinly.
    Prepare sauce by whisking together the mustard, vinegar, cumin, Tabasco, salt and pepper. Slowly add oil while whisking vigorously.
    In a salad bowl; place beans, mushrooms, onions and chives.
    Pour sauce over the vegetables and toss gently.
