Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1 c. sharp shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 pt. sour cream
    1/2 c. half and half
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 c. poppy seed (optional)
    1 bunch green onions, chopped
Preparation
    Boil the potatoes until tender.
    Refrigerate them until cold; peel and grate.
    In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients. Place mixture in a lightly buttered casserole dish.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
