Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
3/4 c. chopped pecans
1 pkg. (8 oz.) frozen strawberries, thawed
1 pkg. strawberry jello
Preparation

Mix cream cheese and nuts.
Soften with mayonnaise or milk if needed.
Drain strawberries well.
Reserve juice.
Drop cream cheese mixture as ball size pieces into Pyrex dish.
Arrange strawberries around balls.
Dissolve jello in one cup of boiling water.
Use reserved juice and enough water to make 3/4 cup.
Pour in jello.
Pour jello mixture over cheese and strawberries.
Set overnight.
