Christmas Lizzies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oleo
    1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    3/4 lb. white raisins
    1 lb. candied cherries
    1 lb. candied pineapple
    1 lb. nuts
    pinch of salt
    1 c. whiskey
Preparation
    Soak raisins in 1 cup whiskey overnight.
    Drain and discard whiskey.
    Stir the candied fruit, nuts and flour together. Combine all ingredients.
    Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 12 minutes.
