Millinocket Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. soft butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled *
1 3/4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. boiling water

Preparation

*Or 6 tablespoons cocoa and 2 tablespoons butter.
