Ingredients

2 c. beets, drained
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. water
1 Tbsp. cornstarch or flour
1 onion, thinly sliced
Preparation

Make sauce of sugar, water, vinegar and flour. Add onion and cook slowly for 5 minutes. Add beets and simmer for 30 minutes.
