Ingredients

1 2/3 c. sugar
1 c. sour cream
8 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. vanilla extract
1 c. margarine or shortening
2 eggs
2 Tbsp. baking powder
1 Tbsp. lemon extract (optional)
Preparation

Cream together the margarine, sugar, eggs and sour cream. Stir in the baking powder and flour.
Add vanilla and lemon extract.
Chill dough several hours.
Roll out.
Sprinkle with a little sugar and roll again lightly.
Cut into small rounds.
Bake in a 375\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes 10 dozen.
