Three Hour Hot Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    1 pkg. Fleischmann's yeast
    1 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Soak one cake of yeast in 1 1/2 cups of warm water.
    Combine flour, salt, sugar and shortening and mix like pie dough.
    Add yeast with water to dough and knead.
    Let rise 1/2 hour.
    Work down and let rise 1 hour. Make into rolls and let rise and bake. Before baking, grease tops of rolls with shortening.
