Caramel Corn - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 qt. popped corn
    2 c. brown sugar
    1/8 tsp. cream of tartar
    2 sticks oleo
    1/2 c. corn syrup
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. soda
    nuts (if desired)
Preparation
    In a saucepan, combine oleo, sugar and syrup; boil 5 minutes. Add cream of tartar.
    Stir in soda.
    Pour over popcorn.
    Mix well. Pour coated popcorn into a buttered pan.
    Bake at 200\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Stir every 15 minutes.
    Great for a snack.
