Green Tomato Pickle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 qt. green tomatoes
6 large onions
2 green peppers
2 red sweet peppers
1/2 c. salt
4 sticks cinnamon
2 c. white sugar
3 c. cider vinegar
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. turmeric
1 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. pepper
Preparation

Slice the tomatoes and onions very thin.
Cut peppers in very thin strips.
Sprinkle the vegetables with the salt and let them set overnight.
Drain them well.
Mix all the other ingredients and bring to a boil, then pour over the vegetables and cook slowly for 1 hour.
Bottle when cold.
