Ozark Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 egg
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. apples, cut in cubes
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg and sugar together until smooth.
    Sift the flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Add to egg mixture, then add apples, nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into a well-greased pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes at 350\u00b0.
    Remove from pan while still hot and cut into squares.
    Chill and serve with whipped cream.
