South St. Louis Gooey Butter Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    2 eggs
    1 stick margarine
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    2 eggs
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 tsp. almond flavoring
    4 oz. sliced almonds
Preparation
    Combine cake mix, eggs and margarine.
    Pat into 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Mix powdered sugar, eggs, cream cheese and almond flavoring. Pour over cake layer.
    Sprinkle with almonds.
    Bake 40 minutes at 350\u00b0.
