All-Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. boiling water
    2 c. All-Bran cereal
    3 c. sugar
    4 eggs
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. melted Crisco
    5 c. unsifted plain flour
    2 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. soda
Preparation
    Pour boiling water over All-Bran cereal.
    Cover and set aside. In another bowl, mix sugar, eggs, buttermilk, Crisco, flour, salt and soda.
    Add soaked bran and stir.
    Place in covered container in refrigerator for up to 6 weeks.
