Shortbread Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. 10x sugar
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Set butter to soften.
    Knead in sugar until creamy.
    Add flour, mixing with fingers.
    Roll dough (dough will be stiff) and cut cookies with a 2-inch cookie cutter.
    Place on an ungreased cookie sheet. Pierce each cookie in center with a table fork. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Watch carefully!
    Remove just as they have a slight tint.
