Swedish Brown Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. dark syrup
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add syrup and mix in.
    Mix flour and soda.
    Then add to first mixture and combine thoroughly.
    Divide into 4 portions.
    Make 4 ropes about 9 to 10-inches long.
    Lay them across cookie sheet and press with fingers to flatten.
    Bake in 300\u00b0 to 325\u00b0 oven for 20 to 25 minutes, until light brown.
