Mock Apple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. water
cinnamon
nutmeg
butter
32 or more soda crackers

Preparation

Mix all, except crackers, and boil until the sugar dissolves. Let cool.
