Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. Crisco
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. lemon extract
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs, unbeaten
3 Tbsp. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour, sifted
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Gradually add sugar to Crisco and butter, creaming until fluffy.
Beat eggs one at a time.
Add sour cream and vanilla. Stir in flour that was sifted with baking soda and salt.
Mix well.
Chill.
Roll out small amount at a time very thin on lightly floured board.
Cut with cookie cutters.
Place on ungreased baking sheets.
Sprinkle with sugar.
Bake at 400\u00b0 6 to 9 minutes or until golden.
Makes 4 to 6 dozen medium sized cookies.
