Pancake Syrup(From Scratch) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 c. granulated sugar
    1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. maple flavoring
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Bring sugars and water to full rolling boil and boil 30 seconds.
    Cover pan and let mixture rest a minute or so, then stir in maple flavoring and vanilla.
    Recover pan (covering the pan during cooking is supposed to cut down on crystallizing).
