Toll House Marble Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine, softened
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation

Mix butter, sugars and vanilla.
Beat in eggs.
Blend in flour, soda and salt.
Mix in nuts if used.
Spread in greased 8 x 8-inch pan.
Sprinkle chocolate chips over top.
Place in a 375\u00b0 oven for 1 minute.
Remove and run knife through to marbleize. Bake 12 to 14 minutes.
