Baked Apples(Microwave) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium cooking apples
    4 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    dash of cinnamon or nutmeg
Preparation
    Core apples.
    Cut a strip of peel from the top of each.
    Place apples in 8-inch round cake dish.
    Press 1 tablespoon brown sugar into each hole.
    Add 1/2 teaspoon butter and a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg.
    Cook apples on Low for 5 minutes.
    Turn dish.
    Cook on Medium for 5 minutes.
    Place apples in serving dish.
    Pour any syrup left in the baking dish into the center of apples.
    Cool before serving.
    Makes 4 servings.
