Homemade Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkgs. Active Dry Yeast
    4 1/2 c. Warm Water
    7 c. Flour
    6 Tbsp. Sugar
    2 Tbsp. Salt
    4 Tbsp. Soft Shortening
Preparation
    1. Combine yeast and warm water. Add flour, sugar, salt, and shortening to yeast mixture. Beat until smooth.
    2. Add more flour until dough cleans to the bowl. Turn out
    on floured board and knead until dough is smooth. Place
    in greased bowl and cover.
    3. Let rise in warm place until double in size (appx 1 hr)
    Punch down & turn over in bowl. Cover and let rise 15 minutes.
    4. Turn out board and divide in 8 parts and form loaves.
    Let rise 45 minutes. BAke 40-50 minutes at 400\u00b0.
