Ingredients

1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
about 2 1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Cream the butter well.
Add sugar and vanilla.
Add enough flour to make a stiff batter.
Make into a roll as for icebox cookies and roll in colored sugar.
Chill a couple of hours and cut in rather thick slices.
Bake as any icebox cookie.
