Pumpkin Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. vegetable oil
1 (16 oz.) can pumpkin
Cream Cheese Frosting
Preparation

Combine first 7 ingredients; set aside.
Combine sugar and eggs in a large bowl; beat at high speed of an electric mixer until light and fluffy.
Add oil and pumpkin, beating well.
Gradually add flour mixture, 1 cup at a time, beating at low speed just until blended.
Pour batter into an ungreased 9-inch tube pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool in pan 10 minutes.
Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
Frost top and sides of cake with Cream Cheese Frosting and garnish with pecan halves.
