Lunch Box Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 heaping c. firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 c. soft butter
1 (No. 303) can fruit cocktail, undrained
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Preparation

Grease and flour 13 x 8-inch cake pan.
Combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and nuts in a large mixer bowl. Blend well at low speed.
Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour into pan.
Sprinkle with chocolate pieces, nuts and a little white sugar.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
