Pickled Eggs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. mustard seeds
    12 hard-boiled eggs
    2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
    1/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. celery seeds
    6 whole cloves
    2 onions, thinly sliced
Preparation
    Blend vinegar slowly into mustard in saucepan.
    Add water, sugar, salt, celery seeds, mustard seeds and cloves.
    Simmer 10 minutes.
    Cool.
    Place eggs into glass container.
    Add sliced onions in container with eggs.
    Pour cooled mixture over eggs and onions.
    Cover.
    Allow to marinate in refrigerate for several days before serving.
    Marinade may be used for a second dozen eggs.
