Lemon Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. boiling water
1 tsp. butter
2 egg yolks
juice and grated rind of 1 lemon
2 egg whites (for meringue)
Preparation

In double boiler, mix cornstarch and sugar; add boiling water slowly, stirring constantly.
Cook until clear.
Add butter, beaten yolks, lemon juice and rind.
Cook until thick.
Pour into baked pie shell; cover with meringue and bake 15 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until browned.
