Homemade Biscuit Mix - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Stir together flour, baking powder, salt.
Cut in shortening until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Store in air-tight container for up to six weeks at room temperature or six months in freezer.
Use for apple cobbler biscuits.
This makes about 2 1/4 cups.
