Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1/4 lb. sausage
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 can tomato paste
    1/4 tsp. spaghetti sauce seasoning (Spice Island)
    1/4 tsp. bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. sweet basil
    heart of celery
    1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    mushrooms (optional)
Preparation
    Brown meat and drain off fat.
    Add all ingredients except cheese.
    Simmer 1 hour.
    Add cheese.
    Simmer another hour.
    Let set overnight, if possible.
