Caramel Fudge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chocolate cake mix
    1 (14 oz.) pkg. caramels
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1 (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour 2 cups of batter into greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 15 minutes.
    In heavy saucepan over low heat, melt caramels and margarine.
    Remove from
    heat.
    Add sweetened condensed milk.
    Mix well.
    Spread caramels over cake.
    Spread remaining batter over caramels.
    Top with pecans.
    Bake 30 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched.
    Cool.
