Cabbage Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. pork sausage
1/2 c. uncooked rice
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
1/2 Tbsp. salt
2 Tbsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. sage
1 c. cottage cheese
8 large cabbage leaves
1/2 c. cream of tomato soup
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sour cream
Preparation

Saute sausage, rice and onion together in skillet, stirring often, about 5 minutes.
Pour off fat.
Cool, and add seasoning and cottage cheese.
Drop cabbage leaves into boiling water for about 1 minute; drain.
Divide rice mixture into four parts.
Wrap each part in 2 cabbage leaves and fasten with a toothpick.
Arrange in a 1-quart casserole.
Mix soup, milk and sour cream together. Pour over cabbage rolls and bake, covered, at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
Yield:
4 servings.
