Venison Roll-Ups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (approximately) venison round steak
    3/8 c. finely chopped onion
    3/4 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. butter
    4 1/2 c. soft bread cubes
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3/4 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. thyme
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    14 1/2 oz. can beef broth
    fresh sliced mushrooms, if desired
    1/4 c. water and 2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed
Preparation
    Cut steaks into a total of approximately six pieces and pound until thin; set aside.
